Keep it Private in Mediation

Confidentiality is a hallmark of mediation. You can feel free to discuss whatever comes up, knowing that nothing can be shared - especially in a court of law.

That means mediation is also non-binding; any agreements you make during a session don't become binding contracts until you've signed them and met certain requirements. You'll always have a chance to think them through or get another opinion before you sign.
